About Roar!

Our Mission

Our mission is to level the professional playing field, to create a world of fulfilled agency workers where nobody is at a competitive disadvantage.

We are Roar, an inclusive training business that specialises in empowering teams to hit their professional goals, through full day workshops and 1-2-1 coaching. Agency environments are hard, and their success relies exclusively on their people.

We believe passionately that when individuals are empowered to voice their ideas, when every employee feels relevant and when positive relationships are nurtured within teams, business performance is greatly improved. Research from Gallup shows that businesses whose employees are engaged, defined as involved in, enthusiastic about and committed to their work, achieve 59% lower employee turnover.

Engaged employees care more about the services they offer, which results in a 40% reduction in quality defects. Highly engaged business units achieve a 10% increase in customer metrics and a 20% increase in sales. When taken together, the behaviors of highly engaged business units result in 21% greater profitability. This research also shows that focusing on surveys, data and online programs doesn’t cut it. Humans need authenticity. To feel driven, excited, positively challenged, heard, respected and valued.

That is where we come in.

We use leading research.

from organisational neuroscience, we help teams work with the fundamentals of human nature, rather than against it.

We create teams.

where nobody says no to opportunities because of fear, where people recognise their unique worth and how that fits into the wider spectrum of the business. We create inclusive teams that are a tapestry of original thought, where each individual feels relevant enough to have a voice. We create teams where nobody is treated unfairly because employees are aware of conscious or unconscious bias and have a framework to manage that. We teach people how to communicate effectively, rather than leaving it to guesswork.

We believe.

that businesses with a recognised, empowered workforce will be at a competitive advantage now and in the future. According to the World Economic Forum, the skills that will be most professionally valuable include: Critical thinking, Creativity, People management, Coordinating with others and Emotional intelligence. Businesses need to get better at nurturing these skills to stay competitive and relevant.
