Our Green House Gas Commitment

At Roar Training, we recognize the urgent need to address climate change and are fully committed to reducing our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, with the ultimate goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. We have developed a structured sustainability strategy that guides us in measuring, reducing, and offsetting our carbon footprint, ensuring we operate responsibly and transparently.

  1. Measuring Emissions
We conduct annual reviews of our carbon footprint across Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (purchased energy), and, where possible, Scope 3 (indirect supply chain emissions). By identifying our primary emission sources, we can target reductions more effectively.

  2. Energy Efficiency and Renewables
We continually invest in energy-efficient solutions and systems that lower our overall consumption. Whenever feasible, we partner with green energy providers and explore on-site renewable energy options, such as solar power, to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

  3. Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain
Our procurement policies place a strong emphasis on sustainability. We collaborate closely with suppliers who adopt responsible production methods, use minimal packaging, and streamline their logistics to contribute to overall emissions reduction.

  4. Low-Carbon Travel and Remote Working
We encourage remote and flexible working arrangements, helping to minimize commuting. When travel is necessary, we prioritize public transport, car-sharing, or other lower-emission options. We track and offset unavoidable business travel emissions.

  5. Transparency and Accountability
We publicly share our sustainability goals and progress each year, reflecting our commitment to continual improvement. By aligning our operations with the UK’s 2050 Net Zero target, we aim to play our part in creating a healthier planet for future generations.
