Part 2: 💭 "Speak to think" and "think to speak" 💭
The concepts of “speak to think” and “think to speak” represent two distinct communication styles:
Speak to Think: Individuals who use this style often process their thoughts and ideas by speaking them out loud. They discover what they think or how they feel about a subject during the act of talking. This external processing can make them seem more spontaneous or unfiltered in conversations. It’s a more exploratory and dynamic way of organizing thoughts, where speaking serves as a tool for thought formation and problem-solving.
Think to Speak: This approach involves internal processing of thoughts and ideas before verbalizing them. Individuals who prefer this style take time to reflect and organize their thoughts internally before expressing them. This leads to more considered, deliberate communication. They might appear more reserved or cautious in conversations, but when they do speak, their words are often well-thought-out and articulate.
Understanding these differences is crucial for effective communication, as it helps in recognising and respecting diverse thinking and speaking patterns among people.

Part 3: 👂 How to ACTUALLY listen to people 👂
Active listening is a crucial skill that goes beyond simply hearing words—it involves fully engaging with the speaker, understanding their perspective, and demonstrating empathy. By actively listening, we create an environment of trust and respect in our interactions. It allows us to comprehend the deeper meanings behind the words, identify unspoken emotions, and respond in a way that validates the speaker’s feelings. Active listening fosters stronger connections, resolves conflicts effectively, and enhances communication by ensuring that each party feels heard and valued. It’s a cornerstone of meaningful and productive conversations, enabling us to build better relationships both personally and professionally.
Part 4: 🙃 Why Feedback Sucks 🙃
Feedback often feels like a tightrope walk. It can be tough to balance honesty with tact, and criticism with encouragement. The risk of misunderstandings, defensiveness, and discomfort looms large, making both giving and receiving feedback a daunting task. Add to this the potential for personal biases and a lack of clear communication, and it’s no wonder that feedback sessions can sometimes miss their mark, leaving both parties feeling unsatisfied or stressed.
Part 5: 💥❓The Power of Questions: Transforming Feedback and Motivation❓💥
Questions are a powerful tool in reshaping the feedback and motivation landscape. By inviting dialogue rather than delivering one-way commentary, questions can turn a feedback session into a collaborative discussion, fostering understanding and growth. They encourage self-reflection and ownership, allowing individuals to evaluate their own performance and identify areas for improvement. This approach not only makes feedback more palatable but also serves as a potent motivator, sparking curiosity and driving personal and professional development.

Part 6: The ✨ transformative power ✨ of growth vs fixed mindset
Growth Mindset: This mindset revolves around the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. Individuals with a growth mindset see challenges as opportunities to grow, value effort as a path to mastery, and learn from criticism. They tend to achieve more than those with a fixed mindset because they don’t limit their potential and are more resilient in the face of setbacks.
Fixed Mindset: In contrast, a fixed mindset is the belief that intelligence and abilities are static traits that cannot change. People with this mindset tend to avoid challenges, give up easily, see effort as fruitless, and feel threatened by the success of others. They often
